We are located along Pine Creek in the scenic Pennsylvania Grand Canyon. Anywhere you look in the campground, you see mountains. One of our best features is that our campsites are right along the stream. We are literally surrounded by over one hundred thousand acres of state game lands and forests, making our place great for those that like the outdoors. We have creek-side, shaded and grassy sites with or without water and electric hook-up. We also have cabins with modern facilities. They have bathrooms with shower, toilet, sink; kitchens with frig, stove, sink, toaster, coffee maker, pots and pans. We have several cabins, each a little different in size and number of people they can accommodate. We do accept pets in our campground but not in the cabins. Of course there is always hiking and biking almost all season long. The Pine Creek Trail (Rails-to-Trail) runs for 54.5 miles. Pettecote Junction has direct access to the trail and is located just about in the center, so you can leave from the campground by bike and ride for several miles in either direction.
Summer is a wonderful time to go swimming and tubing. Seeing someone float along on their tube makes you want to jump right in and join them.

For those looking to see some wildlife, it's common to see deer in the fields near the campground at dusk and sometimes you may catch sight of one sneaking through the campground in search of apples or pears from our fruit trees. Hiking or taking a drive in the mountains you're likely to see other wildlife such as turkeys, fox, grouse, and if you're really lucky, a bear.
On occasion, the bald eagle will make an appearance. They can usually be spotted at their nest in the canyon, which can be seen from the bike trail. Several times throughout the summer, the eagles are seen soaring above the campground and flying over the stream in search of fish.
