Jacobus, Pennsylvania: The name conjures up an earlier day when folks worked hard, took pride in their faith, their politics and their abilities. Towns and villages were places to go for necessities, for medical help and for the rare bit of pleasure and leisure that work permitted. And lastly, the town was the place to which elderly farmers and prosperous businessmen retired. Jacobus met all those demands. Sometime between 1869 and 1893 our Victorian style house was build by Frederick and Henrietta Emenheiser. Large flower gardens, a pond, and majestic trees lure guests to sit on the white wicker furniture in the screened-in porch. Relax and enjoy an atmosphere of the past while partaking of present day luxuries. Our 100+ year old Victorian home features beautiful handcrafted oak floors and trims. Air conditioned bedrooms, offering both comfort and intimacy, are decorated in a variety of cat motifs. Begin your day with a complete breakfast served in the dining room, or the screened porch, then get acquainted with newly found friends. You can take a morning stroll through scenic Nixon Park. Biking paths and a variety of water activities are also available for your recreation just minutes from our location.

As our guest, you can:
Enjoy quiet strolls in the small town of Jacobus.
Feast on a sumptuous dinner, arranged to your taste at a fine local restaurant.
Retire to your room, where every detail of furniture and fixture reflects an era when gracious hospitality was a way of life.
Awake refreshed to a delicious breakfast with other guests or your hosts.
Relax in the turn of the century elegance
