Built in the 1700's and considerably enlarged and remodeled in 1871 and again in the 1990's, the Evermay on-the-Delaware is listed on the National Register of Historical Places. Located on 25 acres of lush pastures, woodland and gardens between the Delaware River and Canal, the hotel is central to exploring Bucks County, Pennsylvania, and Hunterdon County, New Jersey. Within a short distance of the hotel is antiquing, historic sites, galleries and museums, parks and canoeing. Nevertheless, Evermay on-the-Delaware achieves a serenity that, while it is no longer a secret, continues to make it very much a discovery.

The hotel prides itself in providing both substance and style, with a lack of pretense. It projects an air of calm and quiet, allowing visitors to feel like houseguests at a country home.

Ideally located on the Delaware River in Bucks County, Evermay lends itself very well to smaller, rather elegant weddings, and over the years has developed a reputation for hosting successful private events. We can accommodate up to 60 people for a wedding ceremony. Your ceremony can be held outdoors on the garden terraces or amongst our beautifully manicured gardens situated on 25 bucolic acres. The ceremony can also be held indoors in the parlor, where antiques and collectibles from the Victorian era surround you. Our weddings are conducted on Sunday afternoons in order to provide you and your guests an atmosphere of solitude and tranquility.
